Some experiments have been done regarding Thirdym's player controller. 

Active ragdolls will be removed, getting replaced with animations. But this decision will be made with your help, it's up to you to decide the way you want to play. 

Here are some features that will help you decide

• New player system offers stable NPCs. 
• New player system offers wallrunning. 
• New player system offers ledge climbing. 
• New player system offers better animations. 
• New player system offers less CPU usage, i hope. 
• New player system offers, probably, better deaths. 
• New player system offers smooth ramp and stairs interaction. 
• New player system offers dialogs and some cinematic elements. 
• New player system doesn't offer dismemberment. 
• New player system will require reprogramming existing features like weapons, inventory system, NPCs and other stuff. 

Make sure to ignore graphics and focus on player movements when watching the videos.
